EA Sports's FIFA Soccer 09

It might be too late for me to post about this game which is released around 4 months back. But I'm really eager to share my experience playing this game with all the readers. Electronic Art's Sport Division, EA Sport really done a good job in and improved the game with much more move, style and the variety of player which almost resembles their true potential on the pitch. The improved difficulties of World Class and Legendary is really something that move you to spend a time in front of your PC playing FIFA 09. The Artificial Intelligence or AI which automatically shut's all the possible ways to create goals in Legendary difficulties is really challenging.

The only negative thing's about it is it crashed when I play the 3rd season of Manager Mode. Not only me, but every Manager Mode player having the same problem. You can see it at EA Sports forums. I've just recently downloaded and installed the official FIFA 09 Patch and it seems that the problem is gone. I'm in my 7th season of Manager Mode right now and I dont encounter any problem at all. Nice work guys...

Nvidia Countersues Intel on License Agreement

Nvidia is claiming that Intel has “manufactured” the licensing dispute as part of a “calculated strategy to eliminate Nvidia as a competitive threat.”

According to Reuters, Nvidia believes Intel made misleading statements designed to undermine Nvidia's licensing rights and the counter-suit “seeks to terminate Intel's license to Nvidia's patents related to graphics processing and three-dimensional computing.”

Nvidia spokesman Hector Marinez says Nvidia believes that without a licensing agreement, Intel's line of integrated graphics chips violate Nvidia's patent portfolio.

For the record, Intel is already finishing it's researching of integrated graphics chip codenamed Larabee and looking forward to ship it by second half of 2009...

England's revival under Capello...

England's international football glory may ended several years back when they failed to qualify for EURO 2008. But, last Saturday, they showed a fantastic performance which we haven't seen in England's recent poor run. 2 goals form Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney and 2 more from Frank Lampard and Emily Heskey powered them to a 4-0 victory against Slovakia. Fabio Capello is really something after all...

It's also the match which David Beckham earns his record breaking 109 cap for England surpassing Bobby Moore's record for the most caps by an England out-field player. Now only goalkeeper Peter Shilton, with 125 caps, stands ahead of Beckham in England's all-time appearance list. And it seems to me that record will also be broken if Beckham keep up his superior permonmance and help England qualify for the next years World Cup in South Africa...

Argentina = 2010 World Cup Champion?

Another energetic performance my Argentina player on Saturday where they routed away Venezuela 4-0 in South American World Cup Qualifying. It's also the first competitive match for newly appointed coach, the legendary Diego Maradona for Argentina. There is no other word to describe the Argentinian that night except superb. Lionel Messi's opening goal, a smart 1-2 move by Carlos Tevez with messi which fooled the Venezuela's defender is simply amazing. Tevez's second goal from Messi's cross before Maxi Rodriguez and Sergio Aguero adding two more goals respectively ended the night of quality football of all time....

Poem....How the hell on earth i'm going to create my own poem

Another miserable days in my life as my lecturer (Mr. Mus, it's you) want us to create our own poem and present it to him......

The main question is, how do we create a poem ?
Why can't we just edited someone else poem and make it to look like ours...
Owh Mr Mus, i'm not that creative and i'm not used to imagine some boring stuff to inspire me...

The Dilemma of Being a Manchester United Fan

What happen to this team. Just a month ago, they win every match and being the World Club Champion and Carling Cup Champion. But last 2 weeks, they fall prey to Liverpool and they lost again last saturday to Fulham. Their 7 points lead in the Premier League is reduced to 1 point lead in just 2 games. Its a game which they can win easily but the red card in both games really kills the game. In the match againts Liverpool in Old trafford, red card was shown to United defender, Nemanja Vidic for the tackle which should only carried yellow card. And it became the turning point in that match which United was humiliated 1-4 by Liverpool, their fiercest rival.

Last week, they did it again. Paul Scholes was red carded as early as 26th minute for blocking the ball with hand in penalty box. I have no complain for that coz he should be red carded as that is stricly not allowed in football. But what pissed me off is the red card in the 60th minute shown by referee to Wayne Rooney for protesting the referee by throwing a ball. I know its wrong but referee should just warning him as he is already yellow carded earlier. Instead, the referee just showing him a second yellow card which resulted in the rad card. The referee should understand that United is already behind with 10 man and the protest by Rooney is caused by frustration as he misjudge the foul by Fulham player and accused him. In the end, United plays with 9 man versus 11 man and lose the game 2-0 at Craven Cottage. UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL....

I've been playing this game for a week now and I totally addicted to this game...
Believe it or not, you can fly any aircraft, you name it, from Russian Sukhoi to American F 22 is all there....
You will go through some flight mission inside enemy territory and I can say the gameplay and it's interface is very good....
UBISOFT really did made a good game and this game deserve to be one of Tom Clancy's series...

Acer Predator - Watch Out

There's a report recently on the net about Acer Predator have faulty wiring which causes it to overheat and melt the internal parts of the computer along with the case. The ASG7200 and ASG7700, which were sold from May 2008 to December 2008, are the models that are currently affected by the faulty wiring. There are an estimate of 200 systems that are affected by the faulty wiring, but more could be affected; and if you own an Acer Predator, you'd watch out! Any people that do have these models can go to a local Acer store to schedule a free repair.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Ships in April

The Phenom II X4 955 will have a clock speeed of 3.2GHz, an 8MB L2 cache, dual channel DDR2/3 support, and a TDP of 125W. The chip will also be a Black Edition CPU, shipping with an unlocked multiplier. As the current flagship model (AMD Phenom II 940 Black Edition 3.0 GHz) chip was able to go to 4.0GHz on air with nothing special, the X4 955 should be breaking somewhere around 4.2 GHz with air cooling.

AMD Phenom II 995 can easily be overclocked to 4GHz using standard air cooling. At standard clock speed, the quad-core Phenom II 995 is working at a voltage of 1.25V. However, at 1.45V and a HyperTransport speed of 250MHz (compared to the 200MHz for the standard core speed), the upcoming Phenom II X4 can work at an impressive 4.2GHz.

After all, AMD is always the better choice for those who looking for great bang for bucks........

Rumors : Upcoming ATI Radeon 4890

There's has been rumour around all the tech sites about upcoming ATi Radeon HD4890. It's stated that the new card will be using RV770 design, same as ATi's current flagship model (ATi Radeon HD 4870) but comes with higher core clocks and memory clocks. It will ships with 2 verson, a normal HD4890 and an overclocked version. And for sure, 2 HD4890 will be combined to compete head to head with NVIDIA's GTX 295!!!!!

The other post stated that the upcoming card will use different die which is the new RV790 design. The new design will carry more shader processor than the existing thus offer more performance with low power requirement. Anyway, we'll be seeing which one is true coz both post expect the new card in April..........
